What does a WhatsApp QR code do?
It encodes a wa.me link with your phone number. When someone scans it, WhatsApp opens a chat with you. If you added a message, that text is pre-filled.
Do I need WhatsApp Business for this QR?
No. Any WhatsApp number works for the QR itself. Orders App needs WhatsApp Business when you connect the app to capture orders from DMs.
Is this the same as the QR inside WhatsApp?
No. WhatsApp's in-app QR is mainly for adding a contact or linking WhatsApp Web. This tool builds a click-to-chat QR you can print and share publicly.
What phone number format should I use?
Choose the country code, then enter the national number without leading zeros that the country code already covers. Digits only. Example: India +91 and 9876543210.
Can I add a pre-filled message?
Yes. Anything you type is URL-encoded into the wa.me link, so the buyer's chat opens with that text ready to send.
Is the tool free?
