To start managing your Instagram orders in Orders App, you'll need to connect your Instagram account to the app. This guide will walk you through the steps, it only takes a couple of clicks.
Before you start
You'll need an Instagram Business or Creator account. A personal Instagram account won't work, so if you're still on one, switch it over in the Instagram app first.
Open Integrations
Open Orders App and tap Settings > Integrations. This is where you connect WhatsApp and Instagram to Orders App.
Connect your Instagram account
On the Integrations page, tap Connect Instagram. A new window will open asking you to log in to Instagram. Enter your Instagram details and sign in.
You're connected
Your Instagram account is now connected. On the Integrations page, you will see options to edit your Auto-reply message template, turn on/off order creation from Instagram DMs, and disconnect the Instagram integration.
From now on, when a customer sends order details in your Instagram DMs, Orders App will pick up all order details such as the product, quantity, customer name, and delivery address, and add the order to your dashboard automatically.
Note
You can connect both Instagram and WhatsApp to the same account. Your orders from both channels will then live together in one dashboard.
Tip
If your Instagram is still a personal account, the connection won't go through. Switch to a Business or Creator account in the Instagram app, then try connecting again.
